Many students can be hesitant to share career wins publicly for the following reasons:

  1. They don’t want to make other students still job searching feel discouraged in their job searches
  2. They don’t want it to seem like they are “bragging” about their accomplishments
  3. They are super busy and drafting a message and sharing it takes time (hopefully our templates below will help!)

Here is why you should prioritize sharing publicly about your offer (& other career wins!):

  1. Quickly updates your network on your career win/offer and allows them to celebrate with you
  2. Allows you to share gratitude for the people who invested in your during that journey which allows them to feel even more invested in your career long-term because they helpe dyou secure this win
  3. Gives you an opportunity to share tips that worked for you or challenges you overcame with other peers who are job searching and to inspire them to keep going
